EIKON

Internship | Discipleship Program

After High School I participated in a two year discipleship program called Eikon at Calvary Church in Naperville, Illinois. I attended school full-time as well as interned for the High School Ministry full-time. This gave me the opportunity to learn outside the classroom with opportunities to serve in Slovakia, Ethiopia and Indonesia. Each week I attended class as well as did community outreach to underprivileged kids, leading a bible study and helping with homework. I also volunteered weekly at a local nursing home. Apart from that, I led a small group, prepared for services and did all the behind the scenes work for events.

CORNERSTONE CHURCH, LONG BEACH

Internship

I had the opportunity to serve 25 hours a week at Cornerstone Church in Long Beach. This internship consisted of leading a weekly small group, preparing and giving messages, creating and leading the mixer and brainstorming and planning events. I was able to work hands on with the Ministry leaders to get the best immersive internship.
